Disruptive FinTech Start Up looking for Director of Growth Marketing

This person will play a critical role in building and maintaining our user growth engine, facilitating marketing campaign execution, and database health through scalable and efficient processes. We’ve experienced tremendous growth over the last year. This role is critical to ensuring we continue to rapidly scale our Marketing operations. The candidate will begin by leading the current team of content creators and social marketers.

What you will do

• Work with stakeholders to execute on campaign strategies by building roadmaps and managing delivery of marketing campaigns.
• Develop and own the timeline of marketing projects, assign tasks, oversee completion of deliverables, develop contingency plans and ensure deadlines are met.
• Support data-driven lifecycle marketing strategies for email & CRM as well as related programs & channels including messaging, segmentation, optimization, push notifications retargeting, promotional offers, & testing.
• Lead the vision, strategy, & results for CRM, Email Marketing, social media, community development, affiliate and paid acquisition programs supporting growth and retention
• Maintain email and push calendar and work with marketing teams on incorporating CRM plans & programs
• Utilize and improve all marketing data systems to optimize projects in order to drive agreed-upon KPIs.
• Work with vendors to manage our martech stack, support additional growth or engagement initiatives and enhance our operational capabilities
• Work with content, social media and community teams to drive additional customer growth
• Develop and execute a plan for paid marketing acquisition campaigns

Technical Requirements

• 5+ years of marketing operations experience at a consumer tech company, social + company or startup
• A proven track record of executing multi-channel marketing campaigns that generate double or triple digit growth
• Strong overall understanding of digital, ecommerce marketing, including paid search, SEO, display and affiliate, social, community building, email, as well as B2C marketing
• Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in engagement; and share findings along with suggestions for improvements to operations.
• Strong knowledge of data systems / flows, including MarTech and AdTech platforms (paid media platforms, affiliate Networks, SEO tools, ESP tools, Web Analytics tools)
• Expert in defining and implementing processes and policies
• Ability to work with with product teams, and across the organization
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Project management experience
• Curious and motivated to contribute above and beyond what is asked of you
• Strong time management and communication skills
