Complete bank hold verification by going to the Privacy & Security section in the More Menu. Scroll down to the ‘Monthly Spend Limit’ section and verify any cards you’ve added to the app. You will be prompted to enter the exact amount of a small temporary hold placed on your bank account.

(Step 2) Proof of Address

On the Privacy & Security screen navigate to the ‘Verify My Identity’ section and proceed with capturing a photo of an official ID that shows proof of billing address, such as your driver’s license or photo ID card. Your ID will be reviewed within 1-3 business day. If approved, your account will be unlocked.

Note: If you’re an international user, please submit a billing statement or equivalent document that shows proof of address. Fluz prefers documents in English to avoid approval delays. Our support team will work with you to remove your review status.

How do I increase my monthly spend limit?

To stop this from happening on Fluz, we sometimes ask users to submit additional documents to prove they live at the billing address on the card.

Due to currency exchanges, some international users, who don’t own an American bank account, will have trouble verifying the exact amount of the small temporary bank hold placed on their account. In this case, please contact customer support.

How is my sensitive data stored?

Your data is securely stored at all times. Data from Ibotta apps is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS) and is encrypted at rest using various hardware and software protections. Sensitive data is stored in continuously hardened infrastructure which is monitored for threats 24/7, constantly penetration tested, and regularly reviewed by security professionals. In simpler terms, we take your security very seriously.

How are you able to charge me without storing my account number?

To process your transactions, our system transforms your credentials into a key that is meaningless out of context, even to us. No one will be able to tell from our system which account is yours once linked and your account numbers cannot be retrieved by anyone.

How can I protect my Fluz account?

There are a number of ways to protect your account and stay safe online:
Keep your passwords and 4-digit payment passcode safe — don’t share them with anyone.
Additionally, make sure that your password includes numbers, capital letters, and special characters. Don’t use the same password for multiple services or apps.
