After having worked and managed at some of Manhattans highly regarded restaurants such as, Arqu� and Il Buco, Italian born Carlo Pulixi moved to Park Slope with is wife Michelle in 1999, and in late 2000, after a scrupulous search for a place that would be right for what they envisioned, along with eight months of building process, they finally opened Convivium Osteria. The inspiration was to bring to the great community of Park Slope a truly authentic old world Italian Osteria, who's cuisine and wines reflect our love for Italian tradition. Considered as one of the most romantic and authentic restaurants in New York, Convivium combines a rustic, yet elegant countryside aesthetics with the culinary and hospitality traditions of Italy.
