Founded in 1937 and headquartered in Reynolds, Georgia, Flint Energies operates more than 7,000 miles of distribution lines and 50 substations, serving residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural members. The cooperative is committed to community development and sustainability, returning a portion of its margins to members annually and investing in renewable energy sources, with 10% of its generation capacity coming from green resources as of 2022. Through programs like Operation Round Up, Flint Energies has awarded over $5 million in grants to local charitable organizations since 2001.
