Fluz is a rewards-first payments company. We build the virtual card and gift card infrastructure that lets people and businesses earn on spending they were already doing — and we let other companies embed that same infrastructure into their own products through our API. We issue virtual cards, run wallets and virtual bank accounts, and move serious volume every month across consumer, corporate and enterprise programs.
We’re a small team that ships fast. We’ve just reorganized into three GM-led business lines and
we’re hiring across all of them.
This role sits in Platform — our embedded finance business.
Embedded finance means other companies use our technology to put payment features inside their own products, under their own brand. A loyalty app that wants to hand its users a spendable virtual card. An HR platform that needs to send employee rewards. A marketplace paying out sellers. A survey company compensating participants. Rather than build card issuing, wallets, compliance and payout rails themselves — years of work and a banking relationship most companies can’t get — they connect to us and launch in weeks. Their customers see their brand; we’re the infrastructure underneath.
We cover the full range of how money moves: pay-ins (bringing funds in), wallets (holding and governing them), spend (branded virtual cards with merchant and category controls), rewards (gift cards and prepaid delivered instantly), and disbursement (open-loop payouts). Clients use one piece or all five. We’ve processed $5 billion across cards, wallets, pay-ins, payouts and bill payments, and clients integrate through our APIs, drop-in adapters, or low-code widgets. Our developer documentation is public if you want to see what we actually hand to a client.
At Fluz, an account manager is called a Sidekick. On Platform, you own a book of live embedded finance clients — companies running their own card, payout or gift card programs on our infrastructure — and you’re accountable for their volume, their revenue and their renewal.
These clients have engineering teams and their end users feel every problem immediately. When approval rates dip or settlement is late, it’s their customers who notice. You need to catch that before they call you, and you need to be credible when you explain what happened.
You’re also how new things reach the market. We ship constantly — new card types, new wallet and payout capabilities, new funding methods, new ways to integrate — and none of it matters until clients actually put it into production. When something launches, you’re expected to know it is cold, work out which clients it’s right for, and go sell it in. Not announce it. Sell it. With a technical client that means making the case to a product owner and earning a slot on their roadmap, which is a harder sell than a release note and a far more valuable one.
Half the job is commercial: tier progression, true-ups, minimums, expansion, renewal. The other half is operational and technical. Most people are good at one. We’re looking for someone good at both.
Month-over-month and year-over-year volume and net revenue by client. Actual volume against contracted volume. Renewal and expansion. Client-reported incident volume and time to resolution.
Platform is where the company is placing its biggest bet, and it’s early enough that your accounts will materially move the number. You’ll have direct access to engineering and to the founders, and what you say clients need has a real chance of getting built.
