We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in data pipelines, warehousing, and integration, who thrives in a fast-growing FinTech environment and excels at ensuring data accessibility, security, and reliability through cross-team collaboration.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT workflows using Apache Airflow and dbt to ensure data accuracy and reliability across the pipeline
• Develop frameworks to integrate data from diverse sources (e.g., APIs, vendor data) into our data warehouse, performing automated validation to ensure data consistency
• Build and manage GCP-based infrastructure, using Docker for containerization and CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and ensure reliability and scalability
• Collaborate with data scientists to support and optimize machine learning workflows, deploying ML solutions in the cloud
• Document and standardize best practices in data engineering, evaluating new frameworks and technologies to enhance efficiency
• Support cross-functional teams by building and maintaining API integrations for third-party data and creating accessible documentation
• Implement CI/CD practices for production-level data pipeline development, with automated testing, deployment, and monitoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
• Advanced SQL proficiency for complex data queries and optimizations
• Solid foundation in software engineering practices and creating OOP systems in Python
• Practical experience with implementing and orchestrating ETL/ELT pipelines
• Knowledge of basic command-line operations in Linux/Unix environment
• Practical experience with major cloud platforms such as GCP (preferred), AWS, and Azure
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work independently in a remote work environment
• Proven ability to clearly communicate insights to diverse teams
• Demonstrated passion for data engineering and enthusiasm for expanding knowledge in data
• Nice-to-have skills: Knowledge in and experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, machine learning and big data, Change Data Capture (CDC), and working in AGILE environments

Our mobile application is built with React Native and Apollo on the frontend. The app’s backend is built with Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis, deployed on GCP through CI and Docker Images.
