About the Internship

The Fluz Data Internship is a 12-week paid program designed for penultimate students who want to explore how data can drive meaningful impact at a fast-growing startup. The internship begins June 2 and runs through August 22.

Interns will work collaboratively on one major group project, designed to solve a real business challenge. In addition to the group project, you may also support individual tasks across the data organization, offering exposure to data analytics, data operations, data engineering, and more.

You’ll be assigned a dedicated mentor from the Fluz data team, attend regular check-ins and optional learning sessions, and gain insight into how different teams (like product, growth, and customer experience) intersect with data.

This program is designed to be exploratory, helping you gain clarity on where you might best fit in the data world while contributing meaningfully to Fluz’s mission. Interns who perform well may be considered for full-time roles post-graduation.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with three other interns on a core data project over 12 weeks
• Participate in onboarding and mentorship sessions to learn our tools and team dynamic
• Support additional tasks or deep dives with data team members as opportunities arise
• Learn how data drives decisions across multiple departments
• Present your final project and takeaways to the wider Fluz team

What We’re Looking For

We’re not looking for perfection; we’re looking for curiosity, drive, and a genuine interest in Fluz’s mission.

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Business, or a related field
• Experience with tools like Excel, SQL, and Python
• Interest in solving real-world problems through data
• Strong communication and collaboration skills (especially in a remote environment)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced team
• Bonus: Interest in fintech or social products

• Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Fully remote team
• 12 weeks: June 2 to August 22

Our Tech Stack

Our mobile application is built with React Native and Apollo on the frontend. The app’s backend is built with Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis, deployed on GCP through CI and Docker Images.
