We are looking for a Front End Engineer to help build production-grade web and mobile experiences for consumers and businesses. This role will focus primarily on the client application layer, turning product requirements and designs into fast, secure, and intuitive user interfaces.

We are looking for developers with experience building enterprise-grade web and mobile applications. You will be a member of the overall engineering team and will work alongside product, design, QA, and backend developers building out various components of a complex financial application. This position will report to Engineering leadership.

What you will do

• Build and enhance features across our web and mobile client applications, from new user flows to improvements on existing screens
• Translate product requirements and design files into responsive, accessible, pixel-accurate user interfaces
• Integrate client applications with backend APIs and services, handling loading, error, and edge-case states gracefully
• Implement role-based access, permissions, and approval flows in the UI for multi-user business accounts
• Build and maintain reusable components and help improve front-end coding standards across the organization
• Optimize application performance, including load times, asset delivery, data fetching, and rendering
• Investigate and resolve user-reported bugs across browsers and devices, using session replay, logs, and analytics tools
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and the regular release cycle alongside QA
• Help monitor production experiences and respond quickly to security and usability concerns

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production web applications with React
• Deep understanding of JavaScript/ES6/TypeScript
• Experience with modern React frameworks and tooling (e.g., Remix, Next.js, Vite)
• Experience with React Native or other cross-platform mobile development
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and accessibility best practices
• Experience consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Understanding of front-end security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and handling of sensitive data
• Experience working from design tools such as Figma
• Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to break down and articulate solutions to complex problems
• Knack for writing clean, readable, maintainable and reusable code
• Willingness to learn and teach
• Desire to be involved in product definition

• Strong sense of urgency in a professional setting

Nice-to-have skills

• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or e-commerce environments is beneficial. Familiarity with digital wallets (Apple Pay / Google Pay), KYC/KYB onboarding flows, front-end testing frameworks, performance and product analytics tools, and AI-assisted development tools is a plus. Candidates who have contributed to open-source projects or developed side projects that demonstrate technical excellence will be highly regarded.

Our Mobile application is built with React Native and Apollo on the Front End. Backend is built with Node.JS, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Redis deployed on GCP through CI and Docker Images.
