Located in the basement of Thalia Hall, Punch House's own history is steeped in the maritime origins of its namesake drink. When British sailors made the voyage to India and back during the 17th century, they diluted their rum rations with sugar and spices, from which sprang the five tenets of quality, balanced punch: "strong, weak, bitter, sour & sweet. Each of these elements is now skillfully interpreted in the venue's novel cocktail menu. Tied together by a menu by Chef Ryan Pfeiffer consisting of Oysters, Fish Sandwiches, Smash Burgers, Werp Greens Salads, handmade Ice Cream Sandos & more.
