We are looking for Data Scientist who is a curious researcher that proactively wants to fill the gaps in a company with data, models and automations using the tools at their disposals (Python, Excel, SQL, etc.) and promoting data culture across the organization.

What you will do

• Develop and validate statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets, forecast trends, and support data-driven decisions
• Apply causal inference and A/B testing to ensure models yield actionable insights
• Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models for tasks like classification, regression, and clustering, continuously refining them for optimal performance. Stay updated on AI advancements to integrate innovative solutions
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other teams to align data science efforts with business goals
• Communicate complex data insights clearly for non-technical stakeholders, helping shape product and strategy decisions
• Proactively explore new data sources and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities and uncover growth opportunities
• Mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong SQL skills for complex data queries and manipulation
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and foundational data visualization techniques
• Knowledge of machine learning models, including Linear and Logistic Regression, Random Trees, Clustering, and Neural Networks
• Proven ability to solve problems, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to tracing solutions and defining key assumptions
• Strong communication skills to translate complex findings into actionable insights
• Self-motivated and effective in a remote work environment, with curiosity for self-directed learning in a rapidly evolving field
• Nice-to-have skills: Experience with APIs, data engineering basics, building data pipelines, big data tools, and cloud platforms; understanding of business strategy impact, FinTech industry insights (AML, KYC, etc.), and project management for prioritizing high-impact tasks

Our Tech Stack

Our mobile application is built with React Native and Apollo on the frontend. The app’s backend is built with Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis, deployed on GCP through CI and Docker Images.
